Whistle stops..how?
What are they attached with as standard? I assume screws as getting a riveter in is not easy...but the holes in the pillar are bigger that the holes in the metal strips....so I assume the screw does actually go from the door side?

Not what I remember from the 1990 twin slider I sold, but could be wrong.

Re: Whistle stops..how?
of the 4 fixings, obviously you need the door off, the top and bottom i find easiest access is to tape an 8mm socket filled with blu-tack and poke this through to hinge fixing hole. on the middle two they are slightly offset so access to the side of the hinge mount strip , that said most ive done have been secured with pozi screws

So by bolts you mean self tappers? I think I know what ian is referring to but not those..these need a proper metal fastener...maybe I will check ETKA..
