As usual you guys are all amazing..was going to order the doo dah from the link but the fuses in my van are not blade fuses they are the torpedo shaped ones, what kind of meter thingy would you recommend for that that is safe? link if poss?

Oh dear lord!!! I am in out in the dark with a torch in my mouth trying to understand this damn thing!!! I have tried to remove the back of the alternator, I just want to see the brush things....I have taken out the top screw and the damn thing wont shift, I can't see another screw...can anyone show...

Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! To all..I was working on the solution and then last night the bloody fuel tank rusted out...AArrgghhhhhh!!!!!! So that is sorted ..now back to the other stuff that's wrong!!!
