Help with battery code/size please

Post by Bertiedabus »

Hi all,
I am having trouble with my battery....I have a drain or something I think, but the battery is not the right size for the vehicle, i know this as it does not fit properly under the seat, but I dont know what battery number/code I should have in the van. Bertie is a 1985, 1.9 petrol, can anyone help please?
Kind regards
Alex
(this is the main battery not the leisure battery)

You should start by checking for a drain and checking that it is receiving the correct volts from the alternator.

You can do this with a £7 multimeter from maplin.

We've got an 075 starter battery in ours, fits just fine and the lid closes happily.

Just ordered a new Bosch today for £55 delivered.
