rust removal and respry

Hi
Does anyone know of anyone in the Gloucester area who is good at sorting out minor rust and can do a good respray?
Willing to travel 30 mile radius.

Hi

Have checked earth crowns .Have checked pcb no obvious breaks ,continuity to and from bulb.If i move the multi block at the back of the dash i get the light to work intermtantly.

hi

We only normally go out in the van once a month at hte moment as we are refurbishing her.So she sits on the drive. She runs fine normally just this silly problem.

Hi Can anyone shed any light on our problem. Our indicator tell tail on the dash only appears to work when we leave the van for a couple of weeks are the battery starts to run down.When the battery is fully charged and we are driveing the indicators work fine but the tell tail is inoperative.I have ...

Hi
Can anyone point me in the right direction.I have removed my front seats for recovering. Is there any info on how to strip the seats down ? My van is a 1987 autosleeper with origional seats..

Cheers guys . I have stripped hazzard switch cleaned all contacts and refitted. Indicators work again. warning lamp on dash still not working on indicators only on hazzards but i can still drive her.

I have problems with the indicator dash warning light not working. Now indicators packed up. Hazzards work fuse ok any ideas?

Hi
Can anyone help.Indicators work but the warning light on dash doesnt flash. When you put the hazzards on dash indicator light works? 1.9 1987 petrol.
Any help appreciated.

Hi have just been looking at the pics of Lower Lode by the river looks great.Only based in Gloucester so a quick weekend away.Thanks for the recommendation. Also have a look at Cotswold Farm park pubs within 2 to 3 miles but nice clean site. Cost higher than Lower Lode but farm park good for kids. P...

Sorry i didnt reply but advice on running van for a few miles stopped the tappet noise. Been away for our first weekend in van. Great fun only thing we forgot were the matches to light cooker on first night . Had to drink beer til the morning. :D

hi all
have finally sorted out a starting probolem on our van. 1987 1.9 100k on clock. starter failure.
Now all of a sudden a very loud tappet like noise. IS it safe to drive the van or does it need further investigation?

Any suggestions or advice
