Poorly clutch

Evenin' all I have a diesel t3/t25 California which has not been used for a while as we have had some family illness problems and the van wouldn't start! I had an auto electrician come out, I have a real problem with electrics and suspected the alarm which has caused problems in the past but he mana...

Re: dieselkontor VC

Yes it can be hard work and rather worrying in my case. However I did get the bits in the end. As I found the boost controller for my T25 unobtainable in the UK, having tried Simon and my local Bosch agent, I ordered a couple of extra ones which I will be shortly be offering for sale on ebay or with...

Re: dieselkontor VC

Just had an email from Dieselkontor and managed to ring them back. They say that road works knocked out their telephone and internet for two days. Still no news on my delivery though. Klaus says he will look into it. Let's hope he sorts things out and I get my bits Still think care is the order of t...

Re: dieselkontor VC

Be really pleased if you could. Tom seemed a decent bloke when I spoke to him and I've paid him quite a lot of cash as he wouldn't take Paypal or Visa as his website indicated.

Re: dieselkontor VC

For the second day running their number just rings out as engaged. Not sure if this is the German equivalent of 'number discontinued' or just a problem that they are taking their time to fix. Worried it may be the former. Still no email contact. Bought a few bits for myself and others so am rather h...

Re: dieselkontor VC

Hi, don't know if this helps but I bought some stuff weeks ago and it hasn't been delivered. They promised it would be here over a week ago, won't answer my emails and now the 'phone doesn't work. Whilst they say they will take Paypal or Visa they refuse when you place an order. I'd take care. If yo...

Re: Westy battery charger BBB

They certainly shouldn't be the same type. A leisure battery used as the main battery will be killed in no time as leisure batteries are not build for large starting current drain. Equally using a normal battery as the leisure battery, whilst slightly cheaper, won't last as long as they don't like b...

Re: Camper Heating??

Luckily our van had an eberspacher when we bought it.

If we hadn't got one it would be top of our wish list.

Re: Westy Battery Charger

Yep mines on the left hand side which is where they were fitted as standard and yep they buzz and get warm

I put in the same one as Jeavsy and am very pleased with it.

If you post a picture of your set up Phil I am sure we can help.

Apologies cherrydocs if I misled you and thanks to Rob for putting me right. I had assumed that replacements would be to the same spec as the originals

Re: Swivel seat bases for Caravelle

Would the swivelling base not silde forward with the seat to give access to the tool box lid? Sorry to disagree with you Rob but our Westy has original seats that swivel and move forward to allow access to the tool/battery box. However whilst you can lift the lid you need to undo some of the bolts ...

Re: JxX Turbo part number?

Hi Hoss, not sure what the LDA is. I mean the unit that sits by the top of the engine with the diaphragm, which you can't replace, which boosts the fuel to the engine under pressure from the turbo.

May well be called an LDA :)
