Poorly clutch

Post by reddwarf »

Evenin' all

I have a diesel t3/t25 California which has not been used for a while as we have had some family illness problems and the van wouldn't start!

I had an auto electrician come out, I have a real problem with electrics and suspected the alarm which has caused problems in the past but he managed to get it going, diagnosed a faulty starter and left me to take the old one off.

Whilst it was running I moved the van, no problem.

Anyway I took the starter off, put the new one on and fixed the starting problem, duff starter from GSF, in fact the second duff starter as they replaced the first after a week or so under warranty so perhaps a lesson to be learnt!

I thought I would run the van up the road prior to going for an MOT but the clutch pedal went straight to the floor, just a week after it had been perfect.

Just don't know where to start, any ideas would be very gratefully received!

Are there any pools of hydraulic fluid anywhere? Or drips when you press the pedal?
