In short: massive oil leak due to replaced turbo (JX) oil return pipe rubbing on the engine 'undercover' and wearing through the pipe (not my work I might add). The worst thing is that I could not see the dammage due to the cover (which is an oily mess now - especially the insulation). So......after...

Ok. So this sounds none too good. I have European breakdown cover with my HIC insurance policy on the van (cost £57 for 31 days I think). Anyone had any experience with this ? I am no mechanic and we have 2K to do through France this Summer - knowing my luck I'm going to need help at some point!

I am a vet and have had 2 dogs in the last year that have been involved in Road Traffic Accidents that have had to be put to sleep.
