Deisel Leak ?

Post by johnhyan »

Having just got back from 200miles across Wales bleeding deisel all over the roads from Pwelli to Worcester I discover - after ringing out the sound proofing and admiring my now shiny clean engine and trying not to notice the 2 inch thick layer of fuel over the rear of the van - that one of the return spigots on the injector nearest the tail is uncovered and shooting diesel all over the place.

Please please someone tell me that the problem is not a missing end cap circa 70p at brickwerks?

I could tell you that... But I think I would be lying! :D

Look on the bright side... It's a simple fix, It'll need a wash (quite a good wash!) and it wasn't petrol so you still have your van!

Good point. Any tips on removing several gallons of diesel from the engine/rear/every bluddy where? Yup the petrol nightmare did cross my mind
