Re: Rear seatbelts?
Yes, I've recently done this on mine. As a caravelle, you'l have the mounting points in situ, and Simons kit bolts straight on. Youll have the mounts for a central lap belt too.

Odd clonking noise
Was driving yesterday when I heard a clonking / banging from the rear drivers side. Stopped and checked for anything loose, checked the wheel for excessive play etc but could find nothing amiss. The noise seems to appear between 30 and 50 and seems to go away above that speed. I drove home carefully...

Re: A slight lowering job
You jest, but I did consider that!
I think if I was putting her away for the whole winter, I would. But I still want to use it atleast once a week to keep everything going and keep the battery up to tick (no power in the garage for a trickle charger).

A slight lowering job
Hi Guys, Looks like I need to drop the ride height of my Velle a little. I want to tuck her up all cosy over the winter and spent the day clearing the garage. I've an up and over type door which is just a fraction to low (about 10mm) to let the van in. I've seen Brickwerks do -30mm springs. What els...

Re: Atatching a table.
Cheers Maxstu, Yes I was thinking a baton, but hadn't thought of No more Nails. I think its a case of whittling it to fit around the steel pressings that form the long panel. I've bought a devon table from an old bay. It has two plastic catches and a single angled leg which screws into a plate under...

Atatching a table.
I want to attatch a Devon type table to the side of the van using two lift out catches. Obviously the facia cards will be too flimsy to take the weight of the table. One screw can go into the pillar between the middle and rear windows, but that leaves me with a screw to put in halfway along the pane...

Leaky sunroof - what are my options?
Just as I feared it would, in the recent torrential downpour my sunroof has sprung a leak. I took the bus down to a local sunroof specialist who was able to throw light on the problem but not fix it. Apparently mine is an aftermarket fitment made by VH or Vermeulen Hollandia, so not OG VW. He said p...

Where are you based? These guys http://www.sussexwindscreens.com/contact.htm might be able to help. I know they hold stocks of obsolete aftermarket sunroofs.

Re: Put life back into tired exterior plastic
Plastics look great. How did you prep and degrease them? Been planning on doing mine. Front grille has a crack so might just buy one of them, but the rest still needs doing.
