Van security

OK so Ive got my van back on the road after 2 year restoration. All I have to do now is stop some thief getting in and stealing things. Re: fitting rear seatbelts ,any advice?

Just done this in the back of my early westfalia. Got the belts from Just Kampers. when to the wiki on this site, read and followed pictures. Was straight forward, do it your self and save money.

Had to do this for my daughters car seat.

Re: Low power and misfiring under load 2.0cu

I have the same engine and mine used to do this, found out it was the ignition timing control unit thingy or what ever it's called ( screwed on the left hand side of the engine bay as you look in. furthest away from you) Hope this helps. http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m263/phade1971/IMG_0519.jpg

Re: Westy pop top canvas?

thanks for that.

i guess i could live with the light coming through as i am not the one sleeping up there and I can alway water proof it some how.

So the fit was good then?

I did think that due to them being cheaper that they may not fit as well.

Anyone have any idea what size socket i need for the wheel hub nut on the rear of an early westfalia, ive got to take it of to put some longer studs in the hub.
