Westy pop top canvas?

Post by the jig »

I want to renew my canvas on my early westy. Looking around there are lots of option.
I have seen the on ebay £105

has anyone any experience in these type as the three hundred odd pounds from Just k's or Gunzel seems alot in comparison.

I know they say you get what you pay for but just wanted to ask around to see if anyone had used the cheaper type.

Any advice would be greatly accepted.

I have bought and fitted a cheap version. They are okay, except they are thin which allows a lot of light in and not water proof.

I have seen the ones Gunzlez sells. Yes, they cost a lot more but when I replace the canvas on my current Westy I will be buying one.

thanks for that.

i guess i could live with the light coming through as i am not the one sleeping up there and I can alway water proof it some how.

So the fit was good then?

I did think that due to them being cheaper that they may not fit as well.
