bulb holder above headlight switch

Hope someone can help. :D I have an Aircooled westfalia, while putting the dash back in I noticed there is a bulb holder above the headlight switch within the instrument panel. What its this for please?

Its for putting a bulb in :)

:) it's probably your hand brake light confirmation, rectangular red window in front with exclamation mark in a circle on it?

Also used to indicate brake circuit failures (as I discovered when I removed my calipers a while back), so is quite handy to have working.
