bulb holder above headlight switch

Hope someone can help.

I have an Aircooled westfalia, while putting the dash back in I noticed there is a bulb holder above the headlight switch within the instrument panel. What its this for please?

it's probably your hand brake light confirmation, rectangular red window in front with exclamation mark in a circle on it?

Also used to indicate brake circuit failures (as I discovered when I removed my calipers a while back), so is quite handy to have working.
