LED Speedo/clock bulbs ???
Does anyone know where to get LED bulbs for t25? I read on a forum somewhere that they are much better than standard bulbs. Are LEDbulb dimmable ?

Using the dimmer control on the lightswitch will have virtually no effect on the brightness of LED substitutes for regular filament bulbs.
Try Ebay or possibly someone may have a definite supplier you can order from. Pretty sure a lot of us converted the standard bulb holders with LEDs but I suspect you want a set ready to drop in. There are also some alternatives ideas for panel lighting - pretty sure someone will have links to various theads.

Beg to differ, mine are just cheap blue leds and they dim using the dimmer control, nobody was more surprised than me, but it works, think I have a spare one if you want to try itAngeloEvs wrote:Using the dimmer control on the lightswitch will have virtually no effect on the brightness of LED substitutes for regular filament bulbs.

Mine also dropped in, with a very minor adjustment to the contact leads, which needed to be bent a bit further out to make contact with the pcb

I fitted blue led's a year or two back and I thought they were carp. Just as dim as the standards but in a horridly cold blue. It's all based on personal taste.
Instead I fitted normal bulbs but a brighter 2w version from this guy on ebay when they were only £6

I went for a 12v neon stuck to inside of dash shroud (dims also). It shines just the right amount of light through light holes but that will go when I've modified the dash.

Re: LED Speedo/clock bulbs ???
These are the ones I bought (2 sets) and contrary to popular belief they do dim on the control.
I was very pleased with them, they were a little awkward to fit but once in they give a beautifully brite electric blue.
Just be sure to fit them the correct way around otherwise they don't work.

Re: LED Speedo/clock bulbs ???
Greetings all, the light on my LCD clock packed up recently. It's small things like this that drive me potty. Whilst most of this chat is r.e. LED's I'd just be happy to locate the clock bulb. I've recently had cause to change the instrument bulbs. I'll be blowed if I can find the clock light. Can anyone help? Max
