Refitting my Leisure drive Syncro

Post by B.J »

Hi,
I thought I'd start a thread about my Syncro Leisure Drive. This is my first camper project so it's all very much a learning curve.
This is what she looked like when I got her last year.

She had a very tatty interior with a well dodgy R&R bed which came straight out and was hastily replaced with an equally dodgy adjustable bed from Just Kampers.
I thought I'd be able to take out some of the fittings in one piece but they'd been built into the van one piece at a time. I think I managed to salvage a couple of catches, the roof cupboard and the cutlery draw.
All the rest had to be ripped out unfortunately.

As I started to remove the carpet lining I found a strange fiberglass, bodged interior panel.

Right behind is the outer skin?
Do you think it used to be a twin slider?

Thanks for any help :ok
