Flapping noise from heater

Post by syncropaddy »

As the title says, I have a flapping noise coming from the heater from about 40mph onwards. I stripped the heater down and found nothing loose but the noise is still there.

Any suggestions?

Every so often I get a flapping noise from the front of my van,I think it is the two cardboard bits each side of the radiator, have you looked at them?

What, "just like that" Dash out

Mine does it too, usually clatters around a bit then settles, like a loose flap blowing in the draft, then settling somewhere, plus my blower is creamed.

The van is in getting a full resto at the moment (long story) and when I asked would they fit the blower motor (and investigate the flapping noise in there) they said "Yes no bother" :)

Sorry this ain't much help is it...
