Ceiling Window in a high top

Hi All,

I have a t25 and was sold it with no ceiling window, I know how did you miss that you ask? I just thought the window was really clean!!

Anyway, I made a temporary fix and sealed it with a pane of plastic from Wickes.

Now decided that my solution was indeed only a quick fix and now need to find a long term solution for it. So question is, where can I get hold of one?

I tried Just Kampers but no joy ...only pane! (pardon the pun!)

Got a funny feeling they might be the same as caravan ceiling windows but, also need that confirmed.

Yes I mean Roof vent. Just checked online for roof vent and there seems to be plenty of sellers out there with all sorts of shapes and sizes I can probably get this replaced quite easily but how easy it is to fit and to be watertight I guess is the next challenge.

No, the roof vents are pretty bog standard. The windows however differ markedly between different conversion high tops and I thought you were after a window.

Fitting the roof vent is a piece of pee. They come in sections - the outer one sits in the hole and you need some form of sealant runaround the flange where it sits on the roof to waterproof it. The inside section (with the insect net) slides into the outer one and is simply secured using 6 to 8 screws. The amount it slides in depends on the thickness of your roof and is fairly adjustable. Here's mine with the inner section removed....
