bought a dometic 3 way fridge rm123 couple of things obriens camping says cutting a 100mm by 250mm hole in floor behind fridge instead of cutting vent holes in side of camper has any body tried this . next question is there any problems running fridge on 12v when bus is running is the alternator up to it .thanks for any help

Autosleeper cut a hole in the floor for the RM 212.
Most folks agree that a vent is not absolutely necessary. unlike the flue...which is compulsory.

Just ensure that the rear of the fridge can circulate air, from under the fridge and out of the top.
If you intend on touring hotter countries then venting is a very good idea, and the floor method is a sound one

and yes you alternator is up to it
