wheel Help

Post by Vicsta »

Hi

If i get some Merc alloys with 8inch front and 9inch back will these be ok.

They are 17's and have the correct fitment but i am a little wary of such a wide tyre. running cost doesn't bother me to much but i do not want them sticking out.

thanks in advance

Will post some pics soon of my bus std and then as we progress.

cheers

its not really the width of the wheel that matters more likely the ET or offset used. This will determine whether you need to use spacers or not.

You may need a larger door hinge thingy (lol) on the sliding door with those 9 inchers on the rear.

9" should be okay on the rear as there is plenty of space between the trailing arm and the rest of the body. you may need spacers on the front though, and of course longer bolts. Look on the brickyard for wheel size reccomendations. :)
I can't think what to put here
