Hoping one of you knowledgeable people might be able to shed some light on this...
I've (finally) got the front blower motor/fan out and its part number: 321 819 021 A.
VW, VWheritage, justkampers, etc, etc only list part number 321 819 015 as a blower fan. VW, etc also said they've got no record of this part at all!
Yet I'm looking at it, its defo the original markings on the blower fan and the part number is defo 321 819 021 A.
Anyone had the same issue? Or know if the one with part nunber ending in 015 defo fits RHD 14" Syncro?
David.

Its a 1988 14" Syncro with rear heater (in case that matters).
It was converted by Devon for the Devon Scouts at some point and has had a few things such as a "Kenlowe Hotstart" system fitted, and a few other changes here and there. I'm hoping they aint messed about changing the heater blower so I can just find the right part and try to get my dash back together pronto!

one of those?
To my knowledge, the blower fan is common across a lot of VWs - see if it looks like:

The number may not mean that much as it may vary according to what it was fitted on but the basic motor is the same unless you have some weird halfbreed.

Nope, can't find it on 'VagCat' - can't even find the bog standard blower fan.
Even Brickyard only stocks the bog standard http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/shop?page=s ... gory_id=55" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Sorry. Try a post in the Syncro forum?

Best put a picture up of it. That number comes up as a long deleted Passat M1k heater motor.

Passat! What the blithering heck is that doing in my van?
At least I figured out what caused the blower to pack up:

The motors where fitted to lots of VW models often the only difference between the part numbers was the wiring connections. Some odd things did happen on the production line.
I've just done one with the same problem, somebody thought it a good idea to stuff a newspaper down the air intake, not for the motor it wasn't.

Which had the same motor

Replaceable with the available motors for T25's
