We did the same in a VW T2 bay once. Sunk up to the bumpers & the tide was coming in, went like...... :lol: ..... :x ...... :| ....... :( ....... :cry:

Girls went off to dunes to search for branches/twigs/flotsam & we started digging with our hands. Had to build a wall of sand to stop sea flooding hole we were digging, it was that close to disaster!!

We just did it, sand was still falling out of crevices 5000miles later!! :lol:

There is another beach in England, Burnham-on-sea... it seems the people from that place are tired of people sinking their cars... or maybe not, It's a business!!
