Where you go, where you stay and everything to do with getting there and back.

I can certainly help you here, I spent many of my summers around the Suffolk coast.

Orford Ness, Aldeburgh and Southwold are all close to each other and they're all great.

Head out towards Aldeburgh, it's a gorgeous (very expensive to live in!!) little town, you can park the van on the spit that divides the river from the sea, walk down to the yacht club and the Martello tower.

Before you get there you can stop for tea in the town of Framlingham if you like, nice market square and a superb castle, they often have events on.

In the evening in Aldeburgh, head for the fish n' chip shop, the one at the south of the high street, it's won many awards and is fantastic, you might have to queue but that gives you an excuse to take turns and enjoy a pint of Adnams in the White Hart next door.

You can drive over to the house in the clouds in Thorpeness, Sizewell Nuclear Power Station, Tunstall Forest, basically it's a great area to spend a weekend in. :D

There's loads of good stuff on the there especially the Aldeburgh one.

It's a fantastic part of the world. Enjoy if you visit. :)

Southwold very nice, Kessingland good.

Just avoid a place called Dunwich a bit farther down the coast.

What are you up to this weekend Mr Page? There is a bit of a camp at Apps Court, turn up and pay I think Terry said.

It's handy the first time out to be with other people as when you realise you've forgotton the bottle opener or the Duvet or some such there are folk there to help (or point and laugh as the case may be!).
