Battery tray modification

Post by Rogue Trooper »

Has anyone cut the bottom out of the battery tray and moved it down that extra 20mm to the chassis, to get in a bigger battery?

I'm looking to do this both sides to get both main a leisure battery in but cant find a reason not to do it!!

Please talk me out of it! :rofl

Thanks

I've got a proper 80ah leisure battery in both of them, no mods needed. Got them from alpha batteries, go on their site, they give you the dimensions of each battery they sell

I notice that Alpha also do a low height 90amp now.. height is the same, width sounds like it would be pretty snug, anyone tried?
