Nerd or not, that really helps me - didn't realise some of the parts flexed and moved quite so much. Scarey to think I got to put it all back together to get it all running so sweetly. Gulp.

Same here, I didnt realise the anti roll bar moved around so much and the tie rod bushes took such abuse  I am going to have a look at the bushes when I get the van back. I also noticed the drop links get quite close to the drive shafts when the wheel is turned, super nerdy

Tie rod bushes look like they are squashing and rotating a bit, im surprised they last as long as they do. Video shot on a go pro - used these on snowboard helmet and the quality is superb, especially when the sun shines.

The helmet cam is the camera of choice for alpine sports. Virtually indestructible , water proof, hi def, press and go. The mounting kit is useful - could see that being strapped / suction padded on for some great viewpoints. Although not sure how interesting making vids of my van would be at the mo, even in time lapse its not going to be Nat Geo material. :D

If you want to learn more about how different suspension systems work, this is the bible, written by a true great now sadly deceased in 2009.

Very easy to read and it's not all F1 tech:

Great video, thanks for posting that!

If anyone has any questions about the GoPro system feel free to ask me. I've had one for a few years now. Just upgraded to the HD Hero2 when my last one was stolen :(
