Could someone assist me, I have got a 1982 T25 air cooled van, it's got a zig cf6 fitted but has no 240v sockets in the van. I would like to fit a couple under my zig unit for when I am hooked up in a campsite with electrics. The van does have an electric hook up fitted. But not sure what to wire the sockets too.
Please assist if you can.
Thanks
Pete

I take it you have a Devon and it is in the wardrobe? Do you have a fuse box ( mine didn't )? Does the feed for the zig disappear off in a small white flex?

It's a Devon but has had a bispoke interior put in. Zigs in the cupboard (normal area)
And yes the white lead disappears down the back of the cupboard.

Re: 240V socket. How to fit?
You aint got one then and you need one really. Especially an rcd. There is a brilliant thread on here on how to wire it all in. I will find it for you.
Here it is. Ignore what i said on it as i was wrong. The mcb's should be double pole really but I would not worry about it
https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=93057" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Is your hook up in the sliding door cover?
This will also help, note the 5a Zig supply. it is a cf8 but yours is wired the same.

Re: 240V socket. How to fit?
I know nothing about your Zig unit but as your van has never had a mains connection I'm guessing this hasn't got a built in charger?
As far as the mains goes you are going to need a consumer unit

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Caravan-motor ... 2a17299e11" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
A mains hookup socket
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAINS-230V-16 ... 4cf26185fa" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Some flexible mains cable
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1m-3-core-mai ... 255b832213" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Cable clips and ties, grommets if cable goes through rough chassis holes.
