Big old thanks to Aidan Talbot gearbox rebuilds.

Post by jed the spread »

I know if your gear box goes Pete Tong your going to send it to Aidan anyway, and every time you buy a pie from Gregs you dont post on a forum how good your lunch was. But.... I just want to say a big thank you to Aiden for doing a cracking job and giving awesome after market service when he really doesn't have to.
I drove to work today with spring in my step and knowing I can smash out all the bigger jobs that I have been building up due to me having to borrow an Escort van and only being able to carry my lunch in the back of it. I am actually thinking about not selling the Doka at the end of the month now because I am so chuffed, and of course the Westy box will be on its way to you this year for the longer gears for the TDI set up

If only everyone was as reliable as Aiden, life would be sweet...

Thanks Aidan :ok

Can't wait to drive mine with the longer gears, and without that little fear in the back of your mind, that the box hasnt been rebuilt and could go at any moment................

:ok :ok

Having the no1 "customer" gearbox in mine for the last few years.. and Aidan being a very good personal friend of mine.. I'd echo those words.. he really does go above and beyond.. I've been there and assisted on a few jobs..

I was hoping that we were gonna drop my box and do a quick once over on it.. seeming as its prob done the most miles and was the first box... Doesnt look like its gonna happen this year.. :rofl

Have to agree with Jed about Aiden, though not sure I would compare him and the quality of his work to a Greggs pie.
If I was in a hurry I wouldn't have bought a VW!
