We've got it in complete with original manifolds - small amount of clearencing needed. All hoses etc. connected just fuel tank and wiring to do.
What and where do you use as an airfilter - currently thinking of JX next to gearbox. Or, original Golf box cut n shut into n/s rear corner. Or, K&N straight onto inlet - noisey I know.
How did you get around exhaust? Golf downpipe is considerably smaller dia. than JX that I was planning on using.
Any suggestions & reccomendations appreciated.

All the JX bits are for a turbo diesel. The 1Y is a n/a diesel so the jx bits wont help, you need the bits from a n/a diesel. Most bits available from gsf and someone else may be able to help with all the n/a diesel bits that are doing a td conversion. I may be able to help out in a couple of weeks if your still stuck.
