cab floor....

Post by alewing »

hello,

does the cab floor area around the bottom of the gearstick indicate whether the vehicle is 2wd or 4wd? see image...

cab floor.jpg

i was of the understanding that if this area is flat and almost level with the o/s and n/s footwells it would indicate 2wd and if this area was raised it would suggest that it was 4wd, with the front diff sat below.

Cheers,

The first picture of the red van is RHD and with no diff lock panel so it would suggest it was a 2wd van.

I was told (but this could quite easily be wrong) that all RHD Syncros where fitted with front and rear diff locks?

Mine only has a rear locker (Daves came with only one as well) but I think you are right in that all RHD Syncros came with a locker
