Apps Court isn't really an official site is it? Don't 'we' usually just make an arrangement with the owners?

Any reason why it's to be West London?

Why not check out Lea Valley area? It's the right side of town for the Olympic stadium at Stratford.

I'd avoid trying to get from Apps to Hounslow for the tube. Richmond is closer.

Apps court is in Surrey and is miles away from a tube station. It will be a right mission getting from Apps Court to East London, you would be quicker camping in Cambridge

Just park on one of the roads around the stadiums, I'm sure nobody will mind. Leave a little note to reserve the spot when you have to drive somewhere, most Londoners are nice and will leave the space clear.

Lea valley site has got a bus stop to central London outside. it's pretty quick round the m25, probably easier to base yourself in east London than west.

I'm renting out my flat and camping at one of the other London sites for the duration, it's gonna be a bit snarled up round our way in hackney, be nice to have a long break in the van!(With hookup, loo, wifi, kitchen sink...)

Good luck, hope you find somewhere!

I'm renting my van to a friend of a friend who is a working at the Olympics. They won't be driving it just using it to sleep in on our drive. Perfect arrangement as if we want to go away during the time they can then use the house.
Money raised will be going to JDRF a charity close to our hearts.

It's a shame because I expect at the 1948 ones you could have done just that. I hate the modern world.
