Camping Shower Plans/Ideas

Post by RCN »

Hi everyone
Could someone point me in the right direction on making a shower curtain for my bus.
I've read a few posts and it seems that the rear tailgate option is the most common/easiest.
what i'd like to know is how much material i would need, and how to attach it to the tailgate so it can attach/detach quick and easy. i was thinking along the lines of clips that would fit around THE edge of THE gate and just pull off and push on as needed
My bus is not near me so i don't know what the measurments of the tail gate are or length to the ground when open.
I'm looking at solar bags and 12V shower heads too, and any help on those would be great.
anyone got any pics?
Cheers all

We got a crappy shower cubicle from JK last summer, which we rigged up on the rh side front cab door- had it here as we needed to plug in the shower into the lighter socket. Bucket of hot water and the pump submerged and it works fine! Only problem is said crappy shower tent which can fold in on itself if you don't weigh the bottom down with something. We took it to a festival and both showered smugly every day! It came inside a folding wooden pallett case, that you can use as a mat to stand on, and also has a solar shower in it too IF you have sun! Hope that helps a bit...
