Gas alarms
Can anybody recommend a gas alarm for camper vans? I keep meaning to buy one but have no idea what is most suitable. Cheers.

Re: Gas alarms
Do you mean for carbon monoxide? If so, I can post you a good one for a fiver+ p&p
It's a fire angel model CO-9X
It's about the size of a pack of smokes

Re: Gas alarms
Something on my list too, they were all too many tragic stories this year.

Re: Gas alarms
Cheers for that. Sorry I should have been clearer. No not carbon monoxide but a butane/propane detector was what I was thinking of.

I'm not even sure anyone makes one.PRD wrote:No not carbon monoxide but a butane/propane detector was what I was thinking of.
Besides, what's wrong with your nose? The damned stuff stinks to high heaven and I bet your nose would detect a leak far sooner than an electronic detector. Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide detectors are made because you can't smell either of them.

Re: Gas alarms
As above, no point to one, just make sure you have the vent holes in the floor.
Silky, pm me.....
A few people have asked for these, I don't have a ever lasting supply but have a fair few.
So ask if you want one
Lloyd.
