After getting the old blower working

I am now trying to get the air out of the old girl. Now I have read the Wiki but are struggling to get anything out of the bleed screw (rad) little bit of air lttle only.
Now I have got her up at the front ( axle stands ) now I managed to get the van upto about half on the gauge but the I pressume the fan kicks in and she goes down......any way I didnt want to pis off the neighbours too much so I quit after 20 mins. When she is warm does the cap need to be off on ? This seems to just make water pee out the exp bottle.... anyway I think I need to fid a hill not so close to neighbours... the noise from the derv gets on my wick after a while!

cap open when engine running only, otherwise it will all pi$$ out.
IMHO it's not that much of a job, take it for a run up and down some hilly bits then top up, repeat, it will be fine.

nice one fella I will try that wednesday as back onto' project pontiac ' tomorrow. Think I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill..... jut people on here sometimes scare the shi* out of me !
