Best to ask Derek (landlord) of the Duke as 80-90ers don't "do " walks when we're at the Duke..

There's always Parsleyhay carpark and a walk along the high peak trail ... go south not north or you'll end up on our railway line after about a mile

Of carry on that road for about 15 minutes and Park up at Milldale and walk fown into DoveDale.
A Longer walk through Milldale and DOvedale can be reached at Hartington.
Or if resevoirs are more your thing head north through Buxton along the Whaley Road and after the climb up out of the value turn left and head down to the resevoirs where there are some nice walks.
There's lots in that area. Ask the Landlord or do a quick web seach and you should find something nice.
Oh - have you seen the weather forcast? Tonight Buxton is the coldest place in the country -7
