Best place to buy bed foam

Post by Captaindefib »

Hi everyone,

I have just finished making a pull out bed in the roof of our hightop (it did not come with a pull out board, so the upper bed was only 4 foot long!).

I now need to find some foam to cover the wood to make it comfy. Any recommendations on places to buy foam, and also which type / thickness?

thanks

Have you looked at memory foam? There are loads of suppliers on Ebay who can supply it in custom sizes, around 3 inches would be fine

Birmingham Rag Market - a trader has been there for 15-20 years and the cheapest I know, good quality too.

From The wiki...

The PLUSS organisation, Exeter, if you want bed or seat cushions made up.. theres a link here for the 80-90 thread i think

And yes, do consider memory foam, or a memfoam topper, much firmer yet yielding as required, v.good for backs!
