wheel arches/floorpan

Post by dave lfc »

i am going to fit aftermarket seats this week but i dont know weather to weld these in or bolt them in.on the inner side of the seat base you could easily bolt them in but the other side is wheel arch territory with the tanks underneath.i will be removing the runners for extra seat clearence, any ideas :ok

Hard to say without pickies, and as you point out ,you have a few items under there.lol
If you have to remove the old runners hten so be it, but I would be inclined to fit (weld/bolt) a piece of steel to the floor to spread the load and also make it easier to fasten the new seat to,
as said its hard without seeing but could you leave the outer runner and fit the new arrangement to one side of it,
