After just unsuccesfully writing a blow by blow account of my trip to aidans new base in Llanfyllin where I kind of ended up on holiday by mistake for 10 days

You will know Llanfyllin as the village next to Syncropendence. The initial plan was to do a gearbox swap in the van as my gearbox was jumping out of 4th for one i picked up on ebay which Aidan states is a good un, to laneing with the lads at the weekend and to go and see my mates in London. It then turned into a gearbox and engine swap and a rear disc conversion install. I initially arranged to buy an AAZ with 80k and a recon head on it which then turned out to have a mullered crank but managed to get an AAZ of Lee in S wales

Neil helped me to fit the Holan Engineering rear disc conversion kit which he and Ian developed and which I would thotoughly recommend although it does take a bit longer than the 45mins Neil told me

I would also totally recommend the local garage

which is run by Brian and Hadden and the lads David and Paul who will go that extra mile to help you out
Other highlights of Llanfyllin include the Cain Hotel which after going through most of the menu I can reccomend the steak (rare of course) the local bakery lamb and mint oggies and spicey Chelsea buns, the local pizzaeria/cafe Something Tasty.
All i can say it has been emotional but a good laugh and I hope Aidan thinks so as between myself and Neil we manged to disorganise his tools, spill 4.5 litres of used Diesel oil on his floor, and you know how much Aidan likes Diesels

(my bad), spike Aidan with cows milk

) incinerate some lamb, leave a timing pin in the pump sprocket me

and generally cause chaos, make friends and influence people in true Syncronaut fashion

(i know about half the village about now

)
Anyway am back at work now so Aidan and his neighbours can relax mission accomplished have an engine which doesn't smoke out the neighbourhood a box I don't have to hold in 4th gear and a really good handbrake

Many thanks to Aidan for his endless patience and hospitality and I wish you all the best in the new premises and the full recovery of your vegan powers

. Lee for sorting me out with a good AAZ and his hospitality, Neil for his help, company and someone else to share the blame

and the lads in the stationworks who I'm sure are glad to see the back of me especially Brian
