water pump pulley removal.

Post by Cyrus »

What's the easiest way to remove to water pump pulley?
I need to replace the drive belt as it snapped, how do I lock the pump to remove the 3 bolts?
It's a two belt jx engine, one for alt one for water pump.
Cheers :ok

I use a belt that is over the pulley and hangs just below the engine, put the bar of my trolley jack through the loop, stand on the bar and undo the bolts, release the pressure to turn for each bolt position.
