Lowering, a different question

Hey guys,

I'm wondering how I can lower a T25 to create a stanced look. I'll be running 18" wheels front and back and wantit to be lower but not unusable so I thought about 50mm and the corresponding shockers. But, and it's a big but, I want a raked look, not flat. Is there a kit available or any suppliers that will sell one pair of one drop and one pair of another?

18's don't suit a T25 IMHO , and you'd have to run low profile 35s or 40s which would make the ride poor. 17's would be a better option with 45's or 50 profile on the front and a larger profile on the back to create some rake .

My bus has rake and not the garden kind I've got 195/40s up front and 225/45s out back due to it being a lot lower than 50mm that's the largest profiles I can run whilst still having some camber at the rear .

Too much rake and the braking/handling would be shocking .

Thanks for the info. I may not lower it quite so far as 50mm then so Incan run a slightly larger profile on the walls of the tyre. I do want to do the shocks too though so I'm hoping that will sort out any niggles with regard to shaking my teeth out! That camper of yours looks bloody lovely

you can't increase the diameter without having to stir the cogs more... Lowering also affects the castor, camber and speedo, not addressing these ensuing issues ..ensures you suspension and steering will wear out VERY quickly
Get some reading done before asking

Nose down can be achieved with your standard suspension left on the rear.
There are no spring combo kits.
50 mm is a good compramise of looks and ride quality.
2nd hand Caravelle springs (fitted on some check out the spring colour codes) offer 30mm lower.

Well thank you for the information. So is the castor and camber adjustable for a 50mm drop to avoid the suspension wearing out?

You may also need these which makes even more work for you as you have to remove the rear hubs

Camber will need setting my a tyre fitting place or something similar unless there is a DIY way of doing it. That would need a new topci though to get some reponses.

I'd expect to find you won't even be able to slacken the outer trailing arm bolt to adjust the camber due to it being rusted to buggery and siezed inside the trailing arm rubber bush sleeve

Also I am sure changing the camber affects the tracking too

Another E D I T Just noticed where you are. You are within striking distance brickwerks in Huddersfield. You could take the van to them to get it all done, alloy studs, lowering and camber.........or Gasure in Chester too. They are both top blokes
