Flipping sliding window

Have given up trying to stop water getting in. My latest thoughts are to make the drain holes in the window frame much bigger. Currently the rain doesn't drain though the holes but just sits there and works its way in to the van.

My question is would one of those little circular discs that fit in the end of a drill be strong/sharp enough to enlarge the existing drain holes? This is the last thing I need to do to stop water getting in the van which is now smelling much better!

Sounds unlikely to be your problem unless they are really clogged up, r u sure the seals are not old, worn or just ill fitting ?

Thanks, Probably but to change the rubbers I'd need to get a welding done under the window. Already getting sliding door done which leaves me without any more to spend without saving up. As a stop gap wanted to extend the drainage cut outs in the window frame and wondered whether the mini circular saw attachment that fits on the end of the drill would be strong enough.
