Coolant bleed valve in engine compartment - T25

Welcome and I like the choice of user name.
look here for some good info.
Engine compartment bleed screw is on top of thermostat housing foward left of engine in my 2.1DJ. Getting lunch at present. I expect someone else will be along to help soon.

I had to change my water pump last year. After fitting new one, I had same sort of probs, my bleed valve was seized. I topped up system, ran it for 5 mins or so, topped up a bit more, went for a short run,10 miles, topped up again. I watched levels for several days after, topping up as required. That was some time early last year. I did not jack up the front or do any thing else,. I think I have topped up once since then. I am not saying you do the same, but it worked for me.

Don't know if anyone in UK makes something similar, but at least may give you some ideas.

I agree with OLD ONE (I'm one myself) that it is not always necessary to jack up the front, I have a farm next door with a 25% gradient (1 in 4 in old money) drive entrance, so can always park it there for half hour or so. (But not when the milk tankers due!!)
