The product containers tend to be 4.5 litres....fill level to the bung hole so it drips out which tends to leave you with a splash left in the container.
So in answer to your question, about 4.25 litres although I'm sure thats not the actual specified amount.
As much as you can get in on a level surface until the oil drips out (level with the threaded bung)

Petrol 5 speed box oil change takes 4 litres to the fill level ... of course there will be old oil hiding in the corners.

Make sure you can undo the filler plug BEFORE you undo the drain plug :rofl

Hello,

17mm Allen key, or 17 mm bolt with 2 extra nuts.

WHS^^^, undo filler b4 drain.

Work out a way of squirting oil in, (smaller plastic container with flexy spout??)

May smell bad!!

Cordialement.

:ok

Gearbox oil filler tool!
Clean, empty, sealant cartridge (eg silicone sealant) or similar.
Nozzle cut short to leave a little of the taper section.
700-800mm 1/2 inch garden hosepipe pushed onto the cutdown nozzle, it fits ok.
This will go down in front of the engine and turn into filler bung hole, mind it doesnt kink, gentle bend.
Cheap, simple and it works!!
When you've finished just bin it its so cheap.
