unless someone organises something then it's not going to happen, there's been a little talk on the programme thread
unless people step forward and organise stuff in their area, like Neil and the Oirish and others have done then we're left with the tried and tested, eg N. Wales; the existing committee have enough on their plates and don't have the time and money to go out and reccee new stuff regularly much as we'd like to, there's over 100 syncronauts, couple of hundred vans, lots of people like to use them, but as a club we struggle to get 20 vans to an event in high summer, even in the SW where there are dozens of vans they are lucky if 5 or 6 get together in one place at one time for even a day event
If we want do a rerun of last years Bala weekend then I'll happily lead a group and can take passengers (Doug)
Any weekend in October is fine by me

What we are/were hoping to do the first weekend in October is some laning in the Glouc. / Cotswold area. I have found a few routes in the Cotswolds, but these have not been recce'd. This campsite looks quite reasonable plus there is a pub :)

We are hoping that Torchy can do some local recce'ing for us. Clive and I have some lanes that we recce'd in Oxfordshire a couple of years ago that we could do on the Sunday.
