Rock & Roll Bed - How to tell if my three seater is?

Post by Mickyfin »

Hi everyone, hope your well.

Quick question, I have a two seat, and at the rear, a three seat bench, I have figured how to fold it down forwards, but how can I tell if its a Rock & Roll bed too? Is there anything specific I should be looking for?

Not sure if I dreamt it or not, but I think I recall some kind of ratchet system that wound the bottom bench forward. As said, not sure if I dreamt this, but for some reason, have it in my head that I found somehow how to wind the lower bench towards the front of the bus from behind whilst last looking and discovering my Syncro's seating.

Any pointers would be great, thanks in advance.

Unlatch the seat back and fold it forwards. Lift up the seat base so the base and back meet at about 45deg. Grab hold of both and pull them forwards. If you fall over backwards, it's a R&R bed :D

Also, if you lift the seat base and there's a mechanism on each end that looks a bit like this...

... it's a R&R bed.

Well it turns out it's not a Rock & Roll Bed, but not too worry, thats just another thing in the list to get now

Whilst I was in the van, i removed the lower base, and found a €10 Euro note, result lol.

Also discovered the rear heater is loose in its housing, is this supposed to be secure? Also couldn't see any cable to it to adjust its settings. Found the adjustment thing where the cable should go I think, but no cable. Also found a white tap type thing on top, Im getting to help bleed the system?
