An awning that lets light in ?? Any ideas ?
Hi, after a week away with variable weather, we thought we would look to get an awning so if it is raining, we can sit in there and play games etc with the kids instead of getting hot and sticky in the van.
However, we would like an awning that isn't too big but lets lots of light in - we don't want to be in the dark when we do sit in the van, and when we are in the awning we would like to have big windows so we can still be nosy buggers.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
Ringo

We have just bought a Sunncamp frame awning for the same reason, a bit bulky though when packed down.
There is the Navigator which is similar to a tunnel but has a lot of windows.

And on the new ones you can actually roll up the window(s) to just have a fly screen, so plenty of fresh air as well.

Nice one - have got it watched.
I've got van and wife problems at the moment. The van won't start and the wife doesn't like any awning that i show her.
We have seen the really old awnings on T2's - they were pretty similiar to the munich but about half the size - she liked that!

Yep, mine came with groundsheet and the inner tent at no extra cost.
The groundsheet isn't a breathable - so that means its banned at some campsites.
I never actually put the inner tent up - but am glad we have it as it will get used at vanfest (if they let me by the camping ticket on the gate!).
