over spray silencer

Hi

Last owner did a quick blow over and over sprayed the diesel silencer and it looks terrible. Any ideas of best way of removing or covering it? cheers

Paint stripper or better still, paint it with very high temperature matt black paint. I'm surprised it hasn't burnt off with running though, unless you're only doing very short journeys?

thanks black it is. First trip was 400 miles pretty much non stop also few trips to west country but paint is stubborn
