I have checked the previous posts and can only find where to put the rear washer...
I want to add a rear window wiper to my 1983.5 Westfalia and I have all of the stuff (motor, mount, wiper gearbox, outside wiper arm, washer bottle, and hardware). Now all I need is the hole in the rear hatch.
Can anyone tell me where the hole needs to be located? Like X" from the right side of the hatch, X" from the left side of the hatch, X" from the bottom of the hatch, X" from the top of the hatch, what size hole... And picture(s) would be helpful.

Re: Rear Window Wiper Motor Hole...
just popped out to look at my caravelle. I long ago removed mine and put a bolt through the hole as they don't serve much purpose but the hole is dead central and 1" up from sway line. Hole size enough to poke wiper stub through.
