I've decided I need new rocker covers as both of mine are scabby and have holes in and leak oil
I have one VAG one which leaks a bit of oil and one non-VAG made from tinfoil I think that does a great job of lubricating my exhaust - especially now that I have been fiddling with them. (there's a lesson there somewhere)
Tried changing the rocker cover gaskets, various selants etc but am now fed up and plan to buy new one (or maybe even spoil myself and get a pair!)
JK say that their standard ones are 'genuine VW quality' (VW Outer Mongolia possibly?) and not too pricey
However, they also list Scat ones for twice the price which allegedly have improved features;
- "Extra wide gasket flange insures positive leak proof instillation" (their bad typing not mine)
- Stainless so will ostensibly last forever
- Little lugs on the inside to hold the gasket tighter
- Come with new gaskets and clips
- Very shiny so that anyone I run over will be dazzled and therefore unable to take my reg number to prosecute

I refuse to admit that I am just a posy git who wants shiny bits on my bus for no good reason because I have a T3 not a T2 (joke)
So has anyone out there got them?
If so can you confirm that they are a genuine improvement to a WBX engine and really will stop the bloody leaks?
Scat Rocker Covers - any better than standard?
