Mmmm Im thinking you left it abit to late to get on a site for this B/H. I tried loads in North Norfolk and they are all full. Better off going to Run to the Hillsskankyunderpants wrote:anybody recommend a good campsite for kids in the lake district for this bank holiday weekend?

The Lakes is always packed on a bank holiday and if you manage to find a site it will be very over priced.

we stayed here for a couple nights two weeks ago. really, really nice and very cheap. we paid £18 a night for four of us.
loads of rocks for the kids to climb and play on. lots of pebble beaches to play on. Basic amenities, but i liked that. NT campsites are a rip off up there
