Drive shaft knocking
Hi peeps ive started to notice a knocking when turning tight left, after reading previous posts decided its my drive shaft. Got no movement twisting and the usual movement side to side but when i push it towards the back of the wheel it bangs quite loud so im thinking this is the knock. Tried squeesing grease using the milking method but dont think there is any in it at all. Anyone got any tips of getting grease in the joint without taking it apart, just as a quick fix as im going to replace the lot when i get time. Thanks Steve

Re: Drive shaft knocking
Try using a grease gun filled with molydium sulphide grease. But unscrew the valve end off the grease gun then insert the tube end between the gatter and drive shaft &squeeze away the grease.Ive done this and it works well.

Re: Drive shaft knocking
Take the driveshaft off and turn it around (swap inside and outside ends), while it's off, cram it full of grease.
Should last a few more miles like that (and it'll only knock in reverse)
