fitted side repeaters + indicators but...

Post by watson_martin »

Ok it was an experiment but I have fitted idicators and side lights. I wired them in paralel when I use the hazard lights they flash on and off fine. When I use the indicator they flash very fast as if I have a bulb out, but I don't. Is it a case of changing the relay to the same amperage as the hazard relay?

An electronic indicator relay should do the job. The relay you have works on 2 strips of metal being heated and caused to bend, making and breaking contact. Any extra load or less load ie. a blown lamp, will cause the relay to flash at the incorrect time.
