I do enjoy an afternoon in the garage

Post by slobbo »

Well after months of procrastination I have finally got around to fitting 2 Elecsol 100 amp carbon fibre batteries in parallel and fixing my horn. I should now have both batteries charging when on hook up and with both batteries I get enough oomph to turn over the VR6. The combined batteries give me 200 amp hours of leisure use and about 750 amps of cold cranking power. The battery brain monitors the voltage and cuts the circuit if the batteries get too low to start the engine. When shes tucked up in the garage I just have to plug in the hook up and the built in battery charger will keep the batteries healthy.
Cheers
Rob.

Yeah shouldn't be a problem now. Am just looking forward to the heating lasting through the night and not having to jump start from the leisure battery.
